The work deals with the subject of writing letters and words in the composition of Uthman's Mushaf, one of the earliest sciences. It studies the writing of the Qur'an and its various aspects (points, harakats, tashkil...) This edition contains excellent explanation and annotation by Dr. Hamad, as well as a lengthy introduction to the way that the Mushaf was transcribed by the various 'Khattat'.
