Based on a rare Andalusian manuscript this is one of the older Maliki texts used - originally written by Abu Mus'ab Ahmad ibn Abi Bakr al-Zuhri (150-242 AH.), the well-known 3rd Century AH scholar, and the son of he early hadith scholar Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri. This edition was the written manuscript of Hasan ibn Yusuf, servant of the Umayyad Caliph al-Mustansir billah. Excellent edition with quality binding.
