Translated to Arabic, 'A Clergyman's Daughter' (1935) by British writer George Orwell (1903-1950).
'A sudden attack of amnesia thrusts Dorothy Hare, the docile daughter of a parish rector, into a new and entirely unfamiliar life. Wandering the streets of London with no memory of her past, Dorothy lives, for the first time, life on her own terms--working first as a hop-picker and then as a schoolmistress. But as her memory returns, Dorothy discovers that life outside of the confines of her father's house could be as unkind as it was inside of it.

Considered by many to be author George Orwell's most experimental work, A Clergyman's Daughter explores themes of labour equality, poverty, and the impact of capitalism on education. (OCLC World Library)
