Tafsir al-Qur’an al-Azim; more popularly known as Tafsir ibn Kathir is a classical Sunni Islam tafsir (commentary of the Qur’an) by Allama Ibn Kathir. It is considered to be a summary of the earlier tafsir by Tabari, Tafsir al-Tabari.
