تَعيشُ مومو عِندَ أطْرافِ مَدينَةٍ كَبيرةٍ، في أطْلالِ «أمْفي تِياتْروم». لا تملِكُ شيئًا سِوى ما تَجِدُهُ أوْ ما تَحْصُلُ عَلَيْهِ كَهَدِيَّةٍ، فَضْلًا عنْ مَوْهِبَةٍ غَيْرِ عادِيَّةٍ. فَهيَ دائِمًا ما يَكونُ عِنْدَها وَقْتٌ، وَهيَ أيْضًا مُسْتَمِعةٌ رائِعةٌ! وَذاتَ يَوْمٍ، يَظْهَرُ الرَمادِيّونَ فَجْأةً! يُريدونَ الاسْتيلاءَ على وَقْتِ البَشَرِيَّةِ الثَّمينِ، وَمومو هيَ العائِقُ الوَحيدُ!.

'Momo' by the German writer of fantasy and children's fiction, Michael Ende (1929-1995), here translated to Arabic (was also translated to English as 'The Grey Gentlemen), by A story in Arabic for ages 10 and above. Momo lives on the outskirts of a big city in some ruins, with nothing but an extraordinary talent. She always has time, and she is a great listener! One day her talent is needed to save the city from the Grey Gentlemen.
