Al-Ma'thurat is a compilation of Adhkar (sing. dhikr) and Ad'iyah (sing. Du'a) derived from the Glorious Qur'an and the authentic Ahadith. It is presented in the form of a wird (litany) to be recited every morning and evening. Recited by Shaykh Khaled Badawi.

Al-Ma'thurat was compiled by Hasan AI-Banna (1906-1949), the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, who strove to establish the perpetual remembrance of Allah in all spheres of life. For truly, such is the way for the heart to attain spiritual equilibrium and tranquility.

When once asked by a journalist to introduce himself, Hasan Al Banna said: "I am a traveler seeking the truth, a human searching for the meaning of humanity and a citizen seeking dignity, freedom, stability and welfare under the shade of Islam. I am a free man who is aware of the purpose of his existence and who proclaims: "Truly, my prayer and my sacrifice, my living and my dying are all for Allah, the Lord of the worlds; no partner has He. This, am I commanded and I am of those who submit to His Will:' This is who I am. Who are you?"
